* Manage the full payroll cycle, from input and checks through to final reconciliation.
* Review and verify time and attendance data, leave balances, allowances, and deductions to ensure accuracy.
* Investigate and help resolve payroll issues, offering support on more complex payroll queries when needed.
* Handle all payroll information with a high level of confidentiality and care.
* Ensure payroll processes align with current legislation, taxation rules, and superannuation requirements.
* Assist with statutory obligations such as Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and payroll tax submissions.
* Provide accurate records and support during internal and external audit processes.
* Monitor legislative updates and incorporate changes into payroll practices and procedures.
The Candidate: We are looking for a candidate with the below skills
* Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll processing within a medium to large organization.
* Experience with payroll systems such as SAP ECP and UKG preferred.
* Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
* Certified Payroll Professional designation desirable.
