We are recruiting for for an Accounts Officer to join a Finance team in Springvale on a fulltime basis. The Accounts Officer reports into the Finance Team Leader and ensures everything is kept up to date and reconciled.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Processing daily debtor payments
- Maintaining the Aged Debtors ledger
- Processing weekly store sales receipts
- Inputting creditor invoices into our system
- Maintaining the Aged Creditors ledger
- Reconciling and processing daily bank and credit card transactions
- Costing inward goods e.g. machinery and spare parts
- Helping the wider team with adhoc administrative tasks as required
- Backup to the payroll officer
**Selection Criteria**
In order to be successful for this opportunity, you will bring:
- A qualification in Accounting (Certificate IV as a minimum)
- Experience in accounts or bookkeeping position
- Professional communication skills with fluent English (both written and spoken)
- Previous experience in MYOB Exo is highly regarded but not essential
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite
- Exposure to the goods importation process is highly regarded
- Right to work in Australia
