Administration Officer / Receptionist (Dealership)
About the role
JB Caravans is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Administration Officer / Receptionist to join our team at our [Beckenham] dealership. This full-time role is the front line of our customer experience and provides essential admin support across sales, service and dealership operations.
You'll be joining a supportive team in a business that's focused on growth, training and long-term careers, with employee discounts and development opportunities available.
What you'll be doing
* Welcoming customers, managing reception, and delivering a friendly, professional front-of-house experience
* Handling inbound calls and emails, routing enquiries, taking accurate messages and following up
* Supporting the sales team with customer files, appointment scheduling, documentation packs and handover coordination
* Supporting the service team with booking schedules, job cards, customer updates, and general workshop administration
* Accurate data entry and record keeping (customer details, bookings, invoices, supporting documents)
* Assisting with purchase orders, invoicing, stock/parts admin and general office coordination
* Keeping the showroom/office organised and running smoothly day-to-day
What we're looking for
* Experience in administration/reception (automotive, RV, dealership, trades or service environment ideal)
* Strong customer service and communication skills (phone and face-to-face)
* High attention to detail and confidence managing multiple tasks and priorities
* Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel; CRM/DMS experience is a bonus)
* A positive, team-first attitude and reliability
