Enchanted Adventure is seeking an experienced and motivated Café Supervisor to join our team. Reporting to the Café Manager, this is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the café and leading the Café Team to deliver efficient service and an excellent customer experience.
About the Role
As Café Supervisor, you will take ownership of café operations during your shifts, ensuring service runs smoothly across front-of-house, barista, and kitchen areas. You will lead by example, support your team on the floor, and maintain high standards in service, food safety, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the café, including opening and closing procedures
* Lead and supervise the Café Team during service, allocating tasks and managing workflow
* Ensure efficient coordination between kitchen, food preparation, and barista areas
* Deliver and maintain a high standard of customer service in line with company expectations
* Monitor service during peak periods, troubleshoot issues, and support the team on the floor
* Train, guide, and support Café Attendants to ensure consistent performance and development
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards
* Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste
* Support the Café Manager with rostering, operations, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Assist in the delivery of group bookings and events, ensuring café service requirements are met
About You
You are an experienced hospitality supervisor who is confident leading a team in a fast-paced environment. You are organised, proactive, and comfortable taking charge of service while maintaining a calm and positive approach.
You will bring:
* Previous experience in a café or hospitality supervisory role
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a small team
* A hands-on approach and willingness to work across all areas of the café
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* The ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt to changing demands
* A strong understanding of food safety and operational standards
