The Role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this position is responsible for delivering the store's financial targets and company key performance indicators, focusing heavily on creating a warm and genuine customer service experience. The role will also build a team that is empowered to exceed within the retail store and oversee the David Jones and Myer concessions. Please note, this is a fixed term role.
Key Responsibilities
* To drive sales, profit and ensure the achievement of all KPI's as set by the company
* Provide inspirational leadership, training and developing team capability
* Lead with a focus on strong people management
* Maintain a focus on commercial acumen ensuring the team has an understanding of the performance of the store
* Manage effective control of costs
* Drive a customer‐centric culture creating a warm and genuine customer service experience
* Adhere to all company behaviours, policies and procedures
The Ideal Candidate will have
* Proven experience in managing high sales turnover, multi‐site retail fashion stores
* A passion for the retail industry, exceptional service and a strong sense of personal style and presentation
* Ability to manage budgets, interpreting financial reports and generating efficient rosters
* Demonstrated experience in managing for profit, with a commercial approach
* Experience managing the performance, training and development of a large team
* Skills associated with driving productivity with team members
* Ability to build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, including senior leadership
