About the Company
Four Seasons Textiles has been proudly operating since 1997 and is a trusted name within the textiles industry. With more than 100 employees across our sites in Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, and Auckland, the group continues to expand both nationally and internationally.
Our Adelaide-based finance team manages the Australian and New Zealand Aussie Pacific Brands as well as Tradies Workwear/Worklocker Edwardstown and consists of a Financial Controller, a Financial Accountant, and dedicated Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable staff. As the business continues to grow, so too does the opportunity for career development within the finance function.
About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Accountant will play a key role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance, and supporting the ongoing growth of the business. This role will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function and provide support to the broader finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
* Maintaining Xero files, including general ledger reconciliations of balance sheet and P&L accounts
* Preparation of consolidated monthly management reports
* Preparation of monthly sales reports and sales commissions calculations
* Preparation of financial models
* Making recommendations and drive improvements through financial analysis and critical thinking
* Monthly BAS/IAS reporting to the Australian Tax Office
* GST reporting for NZ Entity
* Assisting with the preparation of the annual consolidated and entity-level budgets
* Providing support to the external accountants in preparation of the annual financial accounts
* Assisting with various finance projects
* Providing mentoring and support to other finance team members as required

About You
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional with the following attributes:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a financial accounting role
* CA/CPA qualification (or working towards) is desirable
* Proficiency with Xero, and strong Excel skills highly regarded
* Strong technical knowledge of financial accounting and reporting standards
* Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment
