Data Analyst – Sales Strategy & Operations (12-Month Contract)

Are you a data-driven problem solver with strong skills in SQL and Tableau? Chandler Macleod is seeking a Data Analyst to join our client's Sales Strategy & Operations team in Sydney. This is a hands-on, onsite role with no work-from-home option, offering the opportunity to make an immediate impact in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role
In this role, you will support the execution of go-to-market strategies, provide data-driven insights, and deliver executive-ready presentations that help shape sales performance across the ANZ region.
Responsibilities
* Preparing clear, data-driven insights and presentation materials using SQL, Tableau, GSheets, and Salesforce.com
* Supporting go-to-market planning, including segmentation, headcount planning, and territory alignment
* Tracking KPIs, analysing performance trends, and preparing reports and dashboards
* Running ad-hoc analysis to support sales leaders and internal stakeholders
* Contributing to cross-functional initiatives across strategy, programs, and enablement
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* 2–3 years' experience in data analytics, finance, or business operations
* Strong hands-on experience with SQL and Tableau (essential)
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a consultative mindset
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* A proactive, "get things done" attitude in a fast-paced setting
