Part Time Pathology Collector – Mildura, Victoria
We are seeking a part time Pathology Collector to join our dedicated team. This position suits self‐motivated individuals with a high attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a strong focus on outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
* Collection of blood and other samples from patients.
* Attending to the care, storage and processing of pathology specimens.
* Managing paperwork and associated clerical duties to ensure all details are correct and timely.
* Working alone and participating in weekday and weekend shifts across our collection centres.
Qualifications & Experience
* Certificate III or IV in Pathology Collection or relevant industry experience.
* Exceptional customer service skills in person and over the telephone.
* Sound clinical knowledge.
* Effective communication with the collections team, doctors, patients and other stakeholders.
* Current Driver's Licence.
* Right to work in Australia.
* Vaccinated against preventable diseases; proof of immunisation may be requested.
* Possibly undergo probity checks including police and licence checks.
