Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Forklift Driver and Production Line Workers to support our manufacturing operations. One candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials and products. We also have positions performing tasks on the production line to ensure the efficient assembly of timber trusses and floor trusses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to transport materials and products within the facility.
* Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring accurate placement and storage of items.
* Assist in the cutting or assembly of timber trusses and frames on the production line.
* Follow production schedules and work orders to meet daily targets.
* Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Requirements:
* Valid forklift operator certification for fork operator applicants
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in the timber industry.
* Ability to read and interpret work orders and production schedules.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Good physical condition, with the ability to lift and move heavy objects.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
* Basic knowledge of safety and maintenance procedures for forklifts and production equipment.
