About DHA
DHA was established in **** following passage of the Defence Housing Australia Act **** (DHA Act) to provide adequate and suitable housing for, and housing-related services to, members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and their families.
DHA manages an expanding portfolio of housing solutions and provides housing for over 17,200 ADF members and their families and administers rent allowance for more than 16,000 ADF members and their families in private rental accommodation.
About your team
The Service Delivery Group manages the housing portfolio for DHA, including housing allocations and administration, asset and tenancy management, heritage and upgrade projects, construction, and development activities.
Within this Group, the Service Operations team is responsible for contributing to property management services, including inspections and maintenance, and housing benefits for ADF members and their families.
About the role
Reporting to the Assistant Regional Operations Manager, the Property Manager (DHA Level 4) contributes to the business outcomes of their regional office by undertaking a number of property management activities, including inspections, maintenance, reporting and tenant interactions.
The role coordinates with various stakeholders, ensuring that properties meet required standards and that tenants' ongoing needs are met.
Additionally, it is responsible for monitoring expenses and achieving performance goals in line with relevant legislation and standards.

Employment Details
Non-ongoing engagement for an initial period of 12 months with the possibility of extension or permanency.
All successful applicants are required to hold a valid driver licence and be eligible to complete a Baseline Vetting security clearance for consideration of the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA).
