Job Description
As the Security and Facilities Manager at EOS, based in Canberra within the Operations department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. This permanent full-time position falls under the category of Quality Assurance & Safety.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee the security operations of the organisation, including physical security measures and access control systems.
* Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard company assets.
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise all security activities across multiple sites to maintain a safe environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
* Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and incident reporting mechanisms to promptly address security breaches or risks.
* Evaluate facility infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and develop strategies for improving physical security measures.
* Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to raise awareness about security protocols and emergency response procedures.
* Review budgetary requirements for security operations and facilities management initiatives while ensuring cost efficiency.

* Relevant qualifications in security management or a related field would be advantageous
* Proven ability to manage budgets, procurement processes, and vendor relationships effectively
