About the role
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Red Airconditioning Pty Ltd in Albury, NSW. This full-time role is responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation and commissioning of domestic and commercial air-conditioning systems.
What you'll be doing
1. Liaising with existing and securing additional service agreement clients
2. Commissioning air-conditioning systems, both domestic and commercial
3. Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on air-conditioning systems
4. Identify and troubleshoot issues with air-conditioning systems, and carry out necessary repairs
5. Install new equipment as required
6. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to apprentices
7. Maintain detailed records of all work completed
8. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations
What we're looking for
1. Formal qualifications in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, such as a Certificate III or IV and a full Refrigerant Handling Licence.
2. Minimum 5 years' hands-on experience, preferably in both domestic and commercial/industrial settings
3. Extensive knowledge of air-conditioning system components, fault finding and repair techniques
4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve issues
5. Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members
6. A current driver's licence
7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
