Videographer / Photographer (Mid Weight) | Alice SpringsRed Sands Creative — Part Time with Potential to Move to Full Time
We are looking for an experienced Videographer / Photographer to join our small creative team based in Alice Springs. This role suits someone who enjoys storytelling, travel, and working across both urban and remote locations to capture meaningful visual content. This is a mid-weight role, suited to someone who is confident working independently, managing shoots end to end, and producing high quality photo and video content. The role is part time initially, with the potential to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Plan and organise video and photography shoots from concept through to delivery
* Film and photograph content both independently and as part of a team
* Edit, colour grade and deliver final video and photographic assets
* Produce content for social media, websites and digital platforms
* Travel within town and to remote locations when required
* Manage media files, workflows and project timelines
Required Skills and Experience
* Proven experience as a videographer and photographer (mid weight level)
* Strong experience with post-production workflows
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Lightroom and After Effects
* Ability to manage shoots independently from planning to final delivery
* Strong creative eye and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills and a respectful, collaborative attitude
Equipment
* Professional camera and production gear supplied
* Candidates may also use their own gear if preferred
Requirements
* Current driver's licence and reliable transport
* Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
* Ability and willingness to travel
* Flexible working arrangements within a small, supportive team
* Opportunities to travel throughout the Territory
* Access to professional development and training including Cultural Safety Training
* Opportunity for the role to expand to full time
Salary
Salary negotiable, starting from $80,000 per year (pro rata for part time), depending on experience.
