About the Role
Visual Art Learning Assistant works alongside Visual Artclassroom Teachers as part of a cooperative team and provide avibrant, dynamic and innovative educational programme for ourstudents.
As a Visual Art Learning Assistant, the incumbent will beexpected to:
* Support and promote the school's aims andobjectives
* Be committed to professional excellence and ongoingprofessional learning
* Comply with the School's Code of Conduct and with theSchool's policy and regulatory requirements
* Respect and uphold the School's Anglican values andethos, while also respecting people of all backgrounds andfaiths within the School community
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of children
This role is term-time only, with a stand-down duringschool holidays, except for a few days before and after each term.The expected work days during the school holidays will be advisedat the start of each year.
About You
You are dedicated, passionate and possess the following:
* An interest in, and experience within the Visual Arts
* Experience working with students of all primary ages
* The ability to work collaboratively with CGS teammembers
* Experience working with students with additional needs e.g.behavioural support, learning support, social support, andemotional support
* Sound oral and written communication skills, including theability to interact with students, parents, and teachingprofessionals
* Sound interpersonal skills including the ability to work aspart of a team
* Well-developed organisational skills that will assist inthe delivery of effective educational programs to students
* The ability to assist with the general well-being ofstudents
