What you'll do
As a Sessional Trainer, you'll deliver practical, hands‐on training that prepares learners for entry‐level roles in:
* Building & Construction: Deliver sector readiness programs, including White Card, basic WHS and safe use of hand and power tools.
* Warehousing & Logistics: Teach picking and packing processes, warehouse systems, and give learners an overview of the logistics industry.
* Horticulture & Nursery: Introduce learners to landscaping and nursery pathways, covering basic horticulture skills and safe work practices.
* Plan and deliver dynamic and engaging training sessions, including hands on skills and assessments.
* Work with people from different backgrounds, helping them become job‐ready and build their confidence.

What you'll bring
* Trade qualification (any trade background considered – electrician, builder, carpenter, plumber, etc.)
* TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) - Essential
* Strong knowledge of safety practices and confidence demonstrating safe use of tools and equipment
* Practical, supportive and down‐to‐earth communication style
* Ability to manage course materials, assessments and reporting independently
* Comfortable using technology to manage course materials, reporting and assessments independently. Familiarity with Canvasisa plus.
Additional requirements
* Flexibility to travel across Brisbane and surrounding areas
* Current driver's license and your own vehicle to transport equipment
* Ability to lift upto 20kgs
* Positive attitude and solutions focused mindset
* (You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate, and Working With Children Check – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
