The Role

We're looking for an experienced IT professional to join our growing IT team as a Senior Analyst - IT Support (Level 2), based in our Melbourne office. This is a full-time, fully onsite role suited to someone with a minimum of 3 years of IT support experience who's ready to take ownership of complex technical challenges in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Reporting to the IT Support Team Leader, you'll serve as a senior technical resource for the Melbourne office, resolving escalated support issues, leading IT projects, and providing mentoring and guidance to Level 1 technicians. Your technical focus will centre on Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows Server environments within an ISO27001-certified, ASIC-regulated setting.

Key responsibilities include:

* Resolving Level 2 escalated support issues across Microsoft 365, Azure, and Windows environments
* Taking ownership of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring delivery within agreed timeframes
* Managing incidents with clear communication, keeping stakeholders informed throughout
* Maintaining accurate documentation of systems, processes, incidents, and resolutions in line with ISO27001 requirements
* Providing mentoring and technical guidance to Level 1 IT Technicians
* Liaising with vendors and suppliers for technical requirements and escalated issue resolution

About You

We're keen to hear from experienced IT professionals who thrive on technical depth and enjoy taking ownership of complex problems from start to finish. You're proactive, confident working with minimal supervision, and bring a genuine interest in Microsoft environments and compliance frameworks.

Key to your success in the role will be:

* Minimum 3 years of professional IT support experience with demonstrated Level 2 capability
* A relevant IT qualification (Diploma, Certificate IV, or equivalent)
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
* Strong experience with Windows desktop (10/11) and Windows Server operating systems
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving, time management, and stakeholder management skills

Highly regarded but not required:

* Experience with Microsoft Intune and endpoint management in hybrid environments
* Previous experience in financial services, banking, or other regulated industries
* Understanding of ISO27001 or ASIC compliance frameworks
* Relevant IT certifications (MS-900, AZ-900, MD-102, CompTIA, or similar)
* ITIL Foundation or other service management framework knowledge
* Experience mentoring or training junior technician

Our Benefits
