What You'll Be Doing
The Clinical Nurse / Midwife Consultant (CNC/CMC) will provide expert clinical care and education to children and their families within a defined specialty. The role provides a consultancy and educational focus for ward based nurses in the care of children and their families. In collaboration and consultation with key stakeholders, the CNC/CMC will undertake primary responsibility for ongoing education, development and evaluation of clinical practice.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has AHPRA registration and relevant approved post‑registration qualification in field of practice at Master’s level or working towards or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate by the public hospital or public health organisation
- Has proven clinical leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice
- Demonstrates skills in strategic and clinical service planning and including an understanding of organisational behaviour, change management and cultural change processes
