Overview
Telco Networks Program Manager based in Sydney to lead E2E program delivery for a leading Australian Telecommunications Company in the rollout of new Digital & 5G technologies around the country. The Program Manager will be accountable for end-to-end delivery and lead a team of project professionals.
Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end program delivery for Telco Networks and oversee delivery of Digital & 5G technologies across the country.
* Accountable for end-to-end delivery and lead a team of project professionals.
* Drive customer-facing engagements and report weekly on progress of delivery; address risk and opportunity in a collaborative way, internally and externally.
* Proactively drive required outcomes and manage the delivery schedule, including baseline, forecast and actual dates.
* Manage end-to-end delivery process, governance, relationships, and budget; track cost versus progress.
* Communicate project progress and issues and maintain business partner relationships, encouraging a positive work environment.
* Manage project risk and opportunities from operational and commercial perspectives.
* Implement delivery targets with a quality and first-time-right approach; pursue continual improvement to streamline processes and obtain faster outcomes.
* Demonstrate excellent competence and experience in program management; strong leadership, communications and negotiation skills to negotiate and influence outcomes.
* Proven ability to lead and align teams.
Qualifications
* 5 to 10 years of program management delivery experience in Telecom Network Projects.
* Excellent leadership, communications, and negotiation skills.
* Ability and strength to negotiate and influence outcomes.
* Proven experience in leading and aligning teams, with customer-facing engagement experience and weekly progress reporting.
* Experience in managing budgets, baselines, forecasts and actuals.
* Strong ability to manage risks and opportunities in both operational and commercial contexts.
