Due to continued growth at their Pinkenba site, they seek a motivated Machine Operator to support their expanding production and distribution operations.Role Summary:As a Machine Operator, you will be essential in ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.
If you have experience operating Shear Lines, Bar cutting, or Coil machines.
Our client values a positive attitude, a commitment to safety, and a willingness to learn.Shift Times:Day Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PMResponsibilities:Safely operate machinery to load and unload materialsMove and position heavy materials using an overhead gantry cranePick and pack orders accurately according to specificationsOperate Shear Line, Bar cutting, or Coil machines (experience is advantageous, but training is provided)Perform routine pre-start checks and basic maintenance on machineryFollow all OH&S policies, safety procedures, and quality control standardsCollaborate with the production team to meet daily goals and drive continuous improvementSkills and Experience:Experience with machinery operation, including forklifts, overhead cranes, Shear Line, Bar cutting, or Coil machines (preferred but not essential)Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with basic power toolsKnowledge of OH&S standards and safe work practicesStrong communication and time management skillsBackground in a steel or manufacturing environment is advantageousPositive, proactive approach with a problem-solving mindsetWhat's On Offer:Training and development to advance your skills and careerJoin a leading company in a dynamic, high-growth environmentWhat do you need to do now?
