Purpose and Impact – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Reporting to the CEO & Group General Manager and partnering closely with the Board, the Chief Financial Officer provides strategic financial leadership to support DISSH's continued global growth. This role is both strategic and hands‐on, balancing long‐term growth planning with operational excellence across finance, systems, and business performance.
The position is Brisbane based; a relocation package is available to our successful applicant.
How will you contribute?
* Partner with the CEO and Board to shape long‐term financial strategy and growth priorities.
* Lead all finance functions including financial reporting, planning, tax, payroll, and compliance across global operations.
* Deliver clear, insightful financial reporting and analysis to support executive and Board decision making.
* Drive commercial performance through strong forecasting, scenario modelling, and profitability analysis.
* Build scalable financial systems, processes, and governance frameworks to support international expansion.
* Lead financial aspects of strategic initiatives including market expansion, acquisitions, infrastructure investment, and transformation projects.
* Partner cross‐functionally with Product, Retail, Marketing, Warehouse, and Operations leaders to optimise performance and manage risk.
* Strengthen governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance across all operating jurisdictions.
* Lead and develop a high‐performing Finance team aligned to DISSH's values and growth ambitions.
What you bring
* Demonstrated senior finance executive experience within a retail environment, ideally across multi‐channel operations.
* Experience supporting international expansion or operating across multiple jurisdictions, including navigating global compliance, tax, and regulatory requirements.
* Strong Board partnership experience, including preparation and presentation of Board reporting and strategic financial insights.
* Demonstrated experience leading business transformation, scaling infrastructure, or supporting significant growth initiatives.
* Highly commercial mindset with the ability to translate financial insight into business decisions.
