About the Role
As the Social Worker, you will play a key role in supporting the wellbeing and mental health of students and their families. Reporting to the Principal for operational matters and a Senior Social Worker for professional practice, you will provide counselling, advocacy, and care coordination services tailored to the needs of the school community.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing individual and group counselling to students, parents, and families to address personal and relationship concerns.
Conducting social welfare assessments and delivering interventions to support student wellbeing.
Facilitating referrals to community agencies and allied health professionals for additional support.
Developing and implementing strategies to engage parents and the community in school programs and activities.
Supporting the school community during critical incidents and emergencies as part of the response team.

About You

Experience in counselling and social welfare assessments.
