Overview
This Paralegal role focuses on all aspects from estate planning to administration and litigation support.
You’ll gain exposure to high-quality matters and work closely with both clients and external stakeholders in a Wills & Estates Team led by a motivated and experienced Special Counsel who is a Doyle’s Guide–recognised lawyer with over 15 years’ experience.
The base pay range is provided by HarperLloyd Recruitment and ranges from A$75,000.00/yr to A$90,000.00/yr; actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Responsibilities
- Liaise directly with clients and manage the onboarding process.
- Coordinate diaries and book client appointments.
- Communicate with accountants and financial planners to gather key documents.
- Prepare probate applications, collect assets, and assist with final distributions.
- Draft estate planning documents (Wills, EPAs, correspondence, ancillary docs).
- Assist with end-of-month billing and maintain accurate records.
- Provide paralegal and admin support to the Wills & Estates team.

About you
- 12+ months’ experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal (open to all levels).
- Bonus points for familiarity with probate or estate administration.
- Strong communication and client service skills.
- Excellent time management and attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently and in a team.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management systems.
- Experience with end-of-month billing (advantageous).
The Details
- Type: Full-time (8:30am – 5:00pm), Monday - Friday
- Contract: Permanent role
- Student: Can apply if you have 18+ months left of study before graduation
