This is a key role responsible for coordinating field technicians, managing job scheduling in Simpro, and ensuring all work is completed efficiently and within legislative timeframes.About the RoleYou'll be the connection between our customers, technicians, and support team – ensuring jobs are allocated, completed, and invoiced on time.
This role requires strong organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate the full monthly service schedule from the Simpro planner, ensuring all routine maintenance is set up accurately and on time.Schedule and manage fire service, maintenance, and repair jobs in Simpro.Allocate technicians according to skillset, location, and workload.Monitor and review daily schedules, rescheduling incomplete jobs where required.Manage incoming work requests via email, calls, and quote conversions.Order parts, coordinate customer bookings, and assign jobs to the correct technician.Maintain clear communication with customers, technicians, and internal teams.Ensure all scheduling complies with Australian Fire Standards (AS**** & AS****).
Keep accurate and detailed records of bookings, reschedules, and job notes.Collaborate with Territory Managers and other team members to ensure seamless workflow.Support continuous improvement of scheduling processes and service delivery.About YouYou're a natural multitasker with a proactive attitude and a passion for organisation.
You enjoy solving problems, supporting a team, and delivering outstanding customer service.To succeed in this role, you'll have:2+ years' experience in job scheduling or coordination, ideally within the fire protection or trade industry.Experience using Simpro or similar job management software.Excellent time management, communication, and organisational skills.A keen eye for detail and accuracy.A strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.The ability to work independently while contributing to a positive team environment.Why FCF Fire & Electrical?
