Position
Reporting to the Group Accounting Manager, you will lead a team of Senior Financial Accountants and oversee accounting across the ANZ region. Acting as the key finance contact, you will partner with business leaders, auditors, and advisors to ensure accurate, compliant reporting. You will also analyse business performance, provide insights to drive improvement, and play a key role in budgeting and forecasting processes aligned to business strategy.
Additionally, you will work alongside other Regional and Corporate Accounting Managers to manage and support Group‐level accounting initiatives, contributing to the overall efficiency and alignment of financial operations across the organisation.
Profile
* Strong technical accounting expertise, backed by a relevant professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience
* Proven experience in month‐end closing activities and leading a financial reporting team
* Strong leadership skills
* Comprehensive understanding of local regulations (tax, payroll, accounting)
* A continuous improvement and inquisitive mindset
* Excellent attention to detail, able to identify control deficiencies
