Our technologies and services cover gaseous suppression, water mist, foam suppression, specialised detection, and micro-environment systems. We work across critical industries including industrial, commercial, petrochemical, infrastructure, marine, mining, defence, and transport.
We are seeking an experienced State Manager – Special Hazards Fire to lead and support our NSW / ACT customer base, driving growth while delivering tailored engineered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and strengthen customer relationships across NSW and ACT
* Develop new clients and markets within the region
* Present technical solutions and capabilities to clients and consultants
* Provide quotations and assist with design, install and commissioning
* Market and sell specialised fire protection systems and equipment
* Attend industry expos and conferences to represent DIS Fire Systems
* Manage a structured quote register, pipeline, and follow-ups
* Travel interstate as required, including occasional overnight stays
Qualifications & Competencies
* Extensive experience in fire protection, particularly Special Hazards
* AutoCAD experience
* Experience with Gas Suppression, Watermist, Foam Systems, and specialised detection
* Fire qualification – Tertiary Diploma (desirable)
* Knowledge of relevant national and international fire standards
* Experience with Uptick
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Strong computer and technical aptitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
* Strong customer service focus
