Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)

We're looking for Electrical Engineering experts to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your deep technical knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex engineering problems — from circuit analysis to power systems to signal processing. This is a unique opportunity to work at the frontier of AI development, contributing to models used by the world's leading AI research labs — all on your own schedule, fully remote.

Organization

* Organization: Alignerr
* Type: Hourly Contract
* Location: Remote
* Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

* Design Challenging Problems — Develop advanced electrical engineering problems across domains including circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, and control systems to rigorously test AI performance
* Author Ground-Truth Solutions — Write precise, step‐by‐step technical solutions and "golden responses" that serve as benchmarks for AI learning
* Audit Technical Accuracy — Evaluate AI‐generated code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (e.g., IEEE, NEC)
* Refine AI Reasoning — Identify logical gaps or errors in AI‐generated engineering reasoning and provide structured feedback to improve model performance
* Stress‐Test the Model — Probe AI capabilities in areas like embedded systems, VLSI, robotics, and engineering simulations — documenting failure modes to strengthen AI reasoning

Who You Are

* Pursuing or completed a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
* Strong foundational expertise in one or more core domains: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or signal processing
* Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
* Detail‐oriented with a high level of precision when reviewing equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation
* Self‐motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
* No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

* Experience with data annotation, data quality, or evaluation systems
* Familiarity with AI or language model workflowsBackground in simulation tools or CAD software for circuit and system design

Why Join Us

* Work on cutting‐edge AI projects with top‐tier research labs and teams
* Fully remote and flexible — work when and how much you want
* Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
* Directly influence how next‐generation AI models understand engineering
* Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
