About The Role This is a Senior Allied Health role (Counsellor Level 4, Senior Psychologist, or a Social Worker Level 4), providing clinical leadership to a newly established multidisciplinary team.
The In-reach / Outreach / Brief Intervention (IOBI) team will provide brief interventions for clients accessing AOD services, including in-reach and outreach services. The senior clinician will ensure high-quality therapeutic interventions, clinical leadership, and contribute to service improvement and policy development. Responsibilities include assessments, case formulation, treatment planning, brief interventions, and therapeutic counselling, in collaboration with clients.
This position is based in Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie, with consideration for flexible onsite/remote working for the right candidate.
About You We seek a Clinical Allied Health lead with a bachelor's in social work (eligibility for AASW membership), psychology, counselling, or related field. Experience in clinical governance, team leadership, and education at individual and group levels is essential. Passion for clinical leadership and working with clients to achieve health and lifestyle goals related to alcohol and drugs is desired.
