The Role
We are looking to hire a talented mobility tax specialist to join our team as a Senior Consultant.
In this role, your responsibilities may include:
1. Liaise with global corporate client contacts to provide planning strategies for their globally mobile employees;
2. Support our global corporate clients with their ad hoc and year end project work;
3. Manage individual tax compliance programs on a variety of client engagements;
4. Research and analysis of a wide range of cross border income tax issues (including the identification of employee and employer tax planning opportunities);
5. Provide advice relating to pre-departure and repatriation tax planning;
6. Support Australian tax consultations for our clients’ inbound and outbound employees;
7. Deal with the ATO to achieve desired client outcomes;
8. Work with EY offices across the globe to assist with our clients’ needs, as well as in multidisciplinary teams with our immigration, assignment services and employment tax professionals;
9. Actively participate in development and training activities.
What we’re looking for

10. Proven experience in global mobility advisory, including tax advisory and corporate policy development;
11. You’ve attained experience in some of the following: Australian individual income tax compliance and advisory; Expatriate taxes; Employment taxes (FBT, Payroll, Workcover, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, Salary Packaging) and shadow payroll services; Tax equalisation concepts; Dealing with the application of International Tax Agreements; Advising clients on their employment tax obligations arising from their globally mobile workforce; Compensation accumulation or employee share plans;
12. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment;
13. A consulting mindset, with a keen willingness to learn and grow.

The minimum salary for this role is AUD86,000, inclusive of superannuation, and dependent on skills and experience.
