Finance Manager Position
The Parliamentary Services Department is seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join their team. This exciting opportunity provides a chance to work in a small Finance team, supporting the Parliament's operational outcomes and corporate governance responsibilities.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
 * Managing the Finance Unit and assuming CFO responsibilities;
 * Developing and coordinating Finance policies and procedures;
 * Providing budgeting, management accounting, and financial reporting services and advice;
 * Coordinating procurement, insurance, and contract administration services.
To be successful in this role, the applicant should have:
 * An Accounting or related degree and CPA/CA/IPA qualifications;
 * Strategic level finance experience;
 * Finance management skills including financial planning and analysis;
 * Multiple stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities;
 * Accounting standards and corporate governance knowledge;
 * Leadership and teamwork skills with experience leading multi-disciplinary teams;
 * Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
 * Public sector accounting standards application experience.
