About the Role
Talison is looking for a Training Officer to join the processing team as we continue to optimise the existing processing plants and commission new plants.
Primary Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining training and assessment tools;
* Delivering training packages one‐on‐one in the processing plant or in a group setting;
* Identifying individual training needs and developing training plans;
* Maintaining a skills matrix for the processing team;
* Reviewing standard work procedures.
The role includes training Process Operators in the safe and consistent operation of the crushing and wet‐processing plant, area inductions and verification of competency in operating plant and equipment.
This is a permanent, full‐time position, working an attractive residential roster (8 days on, 6 days off).
About the Candidate
We are looking for a safety focused and positive individual with a hands‐on approach, who is willing to learn to join the processing team in the role of Process Trainer.
Requirements
* Cert IV Trainer and Assessor or ability to complete within 12 months of accepting the role;
* Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to establish strong interpersonal relationships;
* A willingness to contribute toward the success of the team while supporting a positive team culture.
