Contract Administrator

This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the owner as a trusted Contract Administrator, overseeing documentation, contract administration, and regular client interactions across multiple projects. You'll attend site visits twice per month and play a vital part in project performance, quality, and client satisfaction.

* Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors


About the Role

You'll be responsible for managing contract administration across residential and mixed-use projects, preparing and administering subcontracts, variations, RFIs, and progress claims, and building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.


Key Responsibilities

1. Manage contract administration across residential and mixed-use projects
2. Prepare and administer subcontracts, variations, RFIs, and progress claims
3. Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
4. Conduct regular site visits and liaise with site managers to ensure alignment between site activity and contract terms
5. Assist with procurement and tendering processes
6. Work closely with the Director, offering day-to-day support and contributing to key decisions across the business

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years' experience in a similar Contract Administrator or Contract Manager role, excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders.


What We're Looking For

* Ideally from a head contractor background, with strong commercial and contractual acumen
* Experience in residential construction is highly regarded but not necessary—luxury homes, boutique apartments, or townhouses
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, with confidence in client-facing situations
* Minimum 4–5 years' experience in a similar Contract Administrator or Contract Manager role
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management or a related discipline

We offer a competitive salary range of $120K-$160K (based on experience) and flexible working conditions – partial WFH, supportive of school drop-offs and family commitments.
