About The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our Remedial team in Newcastle to assist in delivery of a strong pipeline of works. This role is ideal for a proactive engineering professional with strong technical capability and extensive experience delivering complex remedial projects within Australia.
You will lead engineering functions on challenging projects that contribute to critical infrastructure upgrades and remediation works across Newcastle and surrounding regions.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead engineering functions across multiple remedial projects in NSW
* Oversee project planning, cost control, programming, procurement, and delivery
* Support estimating and tender preparation
* Manage engineering documentation, quality systems, and environmental and safety compliance
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams
* Provide technical support and innovative problem‐solving across diverse brownfield environments
* Ensure project milestones, budgets, and quality standards are achieved
* Promote the company culture, teamwork and positive time management
Essential Requirements
* Minimum 10 years' experience in civil or remedial engineering
* Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Strong capability in estimating, project management, and project administration
* Demonstrated experience managing complex structural remedial projects
* Strong communication skills with the ability to lead and influence stakeholders
Preferred Background
* Experience delivering remedial projects within Australia
* Exposure to marine, mining, and civil structures repair and maintenance environments
* Previous involvement in concrete remediation, structural repairs, protective coatings, or other specialist remedial works
* Based in Newcastle and is happy to travel when required across greater NSW
