Due to continued growth, the company is now seeking a driven Project Engineer with a strong design and services focus to support the delivery of current and future projects within its NSW division.
ABOUT THE POSITION
As a Project Engineer, you will report directly to the Design Manager and work closely with both site and project teams to deliver fast-paced fit out and refurbishment projects up to $50M from early design coordination through to completion. You will play a key role in managing services integration, reviewing design documentation, engaging subcontractors, and ensuring works are delivered to the highest standard. With a diverse pipeline of work across the Sydney region, this role offers excellent stability, technical development and long-term career growth.
DUTIES
- Manage project design coordination
- Coordinate building services (MEP, fire, hydraulics)
- Review drawings and identify clashes
- Handle variations and RFI management
- Manage procurement and subcontractor engagement
- Support project programming and delivery sequencing
- Assist with cost control and reporting
- Engage in client, consultant and subcontractor management
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Experience working as a Project Engineer or Site Engineer on fit out, refurbishment or commercial interiors projects up to $50M
- Strong understanding of design coordination and building services
- Tertiary or trade qualification in construction, engineering or a building-related discipline (preferred)
- Experience with WHS and Quality Assurance processes
- Ability to interpret construction and services drawings confidently
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record of stability with previous employers
