What You'll Learn
You’ll gain the skills and knowledge to service and repair mechanical components including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
The business services a wide range of vehicles and offers everything from standard servicing and logbook maintenance to air conditioning, brake repairs, fuel injector work, and radiator servicing.
Tasks you’ll be trained in include:
- Servicing air conditioning and HVAC systems
- Repairing electrical systems
- Soft soldering and oxy-acetylene welding
- Servicing and maintaining battery electric vehicles
- Testing, charging and replacing batteries
- Communicating effectively in an automotive workplace
- Inspecting, servicing, and repairing auxiliary braking systems
About You
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Passionate about cars and working with their hands
- Mechanically minded and eager to learn
- Reliable, with good communication and teamwork skills
- Safety-conscious and understand WHS importance
- Good with hand-eye coordination and practical tasks
- A valid driver’s licence (or close to gaining)
- Completed or partially completed a Cert II in Automotive or Engineering
