As a seasoned construction expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of subcontracts from start to finish.
This includes developing scopes, evaluating tenders, managing pricing schedules and providing recommendations for procurement.
You will also be tasked with day-to-day contract administration, ensuring accurate records and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in multi-residential construction and construction management.
Strong understanding of construction legislation, codes and standards, including BCA, SOP Act and WHS Act.
Excellent communication, documentation and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end subcontracting processes, including scope development, tender evaluation, pricing schedule management and procurement recommendation.
Perform daily contract administration tasks, including RFI management, EOTs, variations and payment claims.
Ensure accurate document control and project records.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including subcontractors, consultants and suppliers.
Update and monitor project programs and schedules.
Conduct quality checks and manage risk to ensure project success.
