Norton Gold Fields is seeking an accomplished underground technical leader to drive our Tuart underground operations. This senior role oversees strategic planning, coordination, scheduling, and control of underground activities while ensuring safety, operational efficiency.
* Lead and manage all underground operations to achieve production targets safely.
* Promote a positive safety culture through visible leadership and site inspections.
* Assume statutory responsibilities when the Underground Manager and Alternate Manager are off-site.
* Conduct financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, and cost estimations.
* Review and optimize operational safety, production, and performance.
* Mentor and develop junior mining engineers, supporting succession planning.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with experience in mine planning, geology, and development & production practices. They must be proficient in Deswik mining software, MS Excel, Word, and presentation tools, with a WA C/HR Driver's Licence, First Aid Certificate, and Dangerous Goods Security Card.
