Job Description
* Develop, test, and maintain high-quality Java applications that align with project requirements.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design technical solutions for complex business challenges.
* Ensure application security, scalability, and performance standards are met.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of system integration and APIs.
* Participate in code reviews to maintain coding standards and best practices.
* Write and maintain technical documentation to support ongoing development and maintenance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise downtime.
* Stay updated with the latest Java development tools and frameworks to enhance project outcomes.
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Senior Java Developer Should Have
* Proven experience in Java development and with Java
* Experience in Spring Boot and Angular
* Experience in Jenkins and Web Services (REST/SOAP)
* Experience with Jasper Reports
* Familiarity with database management systems such as SQL or Oracle.
* A strong understanding of software development lifecycles and methodologies.
* Experience working in large and complex environments, preferably within the public sector.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
