About the Opportunity

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic Administration Support Officer to join our Chief Executive Department.

This key role is responsible for providing efficient administrative support and customer service to the CEO's Office, broader Council departments and Councillors.

Everyday will be different and you will be part of a supportive, values based workplace. You will also have the flexibility to work at any of our three office locations across the Shire, depending on operational needs.

What you need to Succeed

To thrive in this role, you'll need to be proactive, trustworthy and highly organised with a strong focus on delivering efficient administrative support and professional customer service.

The successful candidate should have:

* Year 12 VCE or several years' administrative support experience in an office environment.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Proven time management skills and ability to coordinate work commitments according to timelines, resources and importance.
* Proficient computer skills with experience in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
* Strong word processing and desktop publishing skills.
* Ability to coordinate a multitude of tasks / projects at any given time.
* Demonstrated exceptional customer service skills.
