About the Role
Maintenance Workshop Supervisor responsible for the day‐to‐day running of the maintenance workshop, leading a small team of fitters, boiler makers, and apprentices. Coordinates maintenance tasks and ensures compliant safety, quality, and timeliness.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and mentor the Maintenance Team across all sites, including installation, relocation, modification, preventive, and remedial maintenance, to keep plant and machinery running efficiently.
* Plan, schedule, and allocate maintenance and repair work.
* Perform hands‐on fitting, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs.
* Maintain high quality control and safety standards throughout all work areas.
* Manage workshop inventory, tooling, and parts.
* Keep accurate records and reporting on maintenance activities.
Essential Requirements
* Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in maintenance, fitting, and workshop operations.
* Demonstrated leadership skills.
* Driver's licence.
* Construction Card (Blue or White).

* Proactive planning and workload management.
* Team‐cohesion and ability to work cohesively within a small team.
* Robust physical fitness to perform highly physical tasks.
* "Can do" attitude and efficient production focus.
* Experience assisting contractors as needed.
* Proficiency with hand and power tools.

* Communication skills and participation in relevant training for compliance.
