Job Description
The Coordinator People Systems and Projects will lead a small team to achieve key actions identified in the City's Workforce Plan and deliver business system improvements/programs across all aspects of the employee life cycle.
This role involves utilising the City's current system (TechnologyOne) and other current or future people-related systems, providing high-level consultancy and project management capability in the delivery of HR and Payroll Systems solutions.
This includes identifying and implementing automated system improvements in areas such as reporting and dashboard capability.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing strategic level input on initiatives that influence and develop a safe and constructive organisational culture.
* Driving organisational effectiveness through effective change management and process improvement.
Requirements for success in this role include:
* Degree in Human Resource Management.
* Project Management accreditation.
* Member of, or eligible for membership of, an appropriate professional organisation.
* Qualification in Information Technology is desirable.
Experience in leading recruitment and payroll functions, driving change management and continuous improvement, and developing workforce planning strategies is highly regarded.
Successful candidates should be able to demonstrate their ability to lead and manage teams, drive organisational change and provide high-level consultancy services.
In addition to these requirements, applicants must be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
