As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our presence in the region.
Our goal is to build a thriving regional Australia by leveraging our extensive network of bulk fuel and lubricant depots, delivery vehicles, and retail service stations.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and executing sales strategies to acquire new customers and retain existing ones
* Managing revenue streams and ensuring accurate financial reporting
* Liaising with depot managers and support function teams to achieve business objectives
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans
* Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices through training and professional development
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Class driver's license (minimum requirement)
* HR and Forklift licenses preferred but not essential
* Formal business qualifications preferred
* Previous experience in a sales or business development role, preferably covering a territory with a customer base across primary producers, transport, industrial/commercial, mining, or similar sectors
* Strong sales acumen and skill set
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* A good understanding of the region, its customer base, and their needs
* Ability to travel regularly and think on your feet to come up with solutions
