The company is extremely innovative and has grown by following a simple yet powerful philosophy: "to solve customers' problems and challenges".Reports directly to: Vice President, Additives & PolymersSchedule: Monday-Friday from 8am-5pmBonus compensation: for sales and prospectingLocation: P7 Additives and Polymers Sales OfficeThe Preferred Candidate:To include but not limited to:Is an effective communicator with the ability to de-escalate problem situations, relay customer needs to the sales/production team, and independently execute order fulfillment.Is well organized and motivated to properly plan ahead for customer orders using forecasting through regular contact with current customers and the Regional Sales Manager.Prioritizes maintaining customer relationships and coordinating their various needs and activities including quoting, sampling, order entry, expediting/order fulfillment/logistics, problem resolution, etc. for highest customer satisfaction.Consistently prospects for and develops new accounts through research, cold calling, lead management, appointment setting, information sharing, quoting and generating new business.Develops and maintains a relationship with outside Regional Sales Managers to drive increased account sales and profitability.Works cooperatively within a team structure and is willing to contribute to the overall development of the additives and chemicals division.Education and Experience:At least 2 years of applicable customer service experience with demonstrated understanding of the order to cash process including logistics.Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.Strong administrative abilities with attention to detail and excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
