Lead Educator | Sale
We’re looking for a passionate Lead Educator to join our team at our Sale centre on a maternity leave contract. If you enjoy leading a room, supporting fellow educators and creating engaging learning environments where children can thrive, we’d love to hear from you!
About the role
As Lead Educator, you will guide the day-to-day operations of your learning environment and support the delivery of engaging, high-quality educational programs. You will work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.
Key responsibilities
* Lead the daily operations of your room and support the educator team
* Plan and implement engaging programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
* Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues
* Support and mentor educators within the room
* Ensure high standards of safety, wellbeing and compliance
* Contribute to a positive and collaborative centre culture
About you
* Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or working towards)
* Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Room Leader preferred
* Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
* Passion for supporting children’s learning and development
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Current Working With Children Check
