Join our Data & AI Operational Risk team based in Sydney, who play a key role supporting our Data and AI division within the Corporate Operations Group globally. We help manage their risk profile through the continual refinement and implementation of the Operational Risk Management Framework.

What role will you play?
You will lead a small Sydney based team and work closely with global Data and AI teams and the wider risk management teams across the Corporate Operations Group and Macquarie. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping to manage operational risk outcomes, drive improvements, and deliver efficiencies in line with Macquarie's Operational Risk Management Frameworks and policies. You will support the Data and AI teams in uplifting risk culture, conducting monthly risk reporting and by facilitating regular Risk and Controls Self-Assessments. You will also initiate and lead conversations with business leaders and risk management colleagues regarding anticipated and emerging issues in relation to design and embedment of Data and AI Risk Frameworks for Macquarie Group.
What You Offer
10 years+ experience in operational risk management, ideally within financial services or technology environments, would be advantageousDemonstrated experience and understanding of risk frameworks, policies, and reporting processesAbility to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders across diverse teams and regionsExcellent communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-focused approachProven analytical skills and a keen attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
