Electrical or Mechanical Service Technician
Drake International – Australia pay range: $55-$62 /hr + Super + Company Car + RDO.
Base pay range: A$*****/hr - A$*****/hr.
Drake Trades and Technical is excited to present a unique opportunity to join our client's Façade Access Division in Perth. This full-time, permanent role allows you to work in a professional, safety-first environment on high-profile industrial projects. You'll perform inspections, maintenance, repairs and commissioning of high-rise façade access equipment, including BMUs and height safety systems, while working closely with a skilled, supportive team.
Candidates can be either
electrical
or
mechanical
trade qualified, making this a great opportunity for a variety of skilled technicians.
Key responsibilities
Conduct routine and annual inspections of BMUs and fall arrest systems.
Carry out installation, mechanical assembly, and commissioning of façade access and height safety systems.
Diagnose and repair electrical or mechanical faults.
Lead refurbishment and maintenance projects.
Operate BMUs and provide operator familiarisation training.
Requirements
A grade electrical license or mechanical fitter with restricted electrical licence.
Minimum 2 years' service/maintenance experience.
Working at Heights, White Card and Dogman/Rigger tickets preferred.
Full working rights in Australia and current driver's licence.
Strong teamwork, problem solving skills and proactive attitude.
Willingness to travel interstate as required.
