ADF Rehabilitation Consultant
The role of ADF Rehabilitation Consultant involves supporting military personnel who have suffered physical and/or psychological injuries. This is a unique opportunity for individuals to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who serve their country.
This position requires a holistic approach, working within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehabilitation to healing. Key responsibilities include:
* Performing a variety of assessments depending on clinical expertise, including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic, or activities of daily living assessments
* Collaborating with various stakeholders, including employees, medical specialists, treatment providers, and allied health professionals
* Developing, implementing, and monitoring rehabilitation plans
Success in this role will be measured by service delivery outcomes rather than billable hours. The focus is on genuine person-centred care and goal setting.

Key requirements for this role include:
* Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)
* Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy, or Social Work
* Australian Citizenship
* Strong clinical reasoning
* Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams
* Passion for helping people rehabilitate
* Occupational rehabilitation experience desirable
