The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator & Team Leader to coordinate domestic trucking operations and production scheduling across two busy cold stores.
This role is the central link between sales, production, planning, warehousing, and transport, ensuring products more efficiently and customer orders are delivered on time.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule domestic trucking movements for outbound loads
Work closely with transport partners to ensure reliable pickup and delivery
Optimise truck routes, loads, and costs
Coordinate production schedules to meet customer deadlines and inventory requirements
Balance production priorities to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime
Communicate daily with sales, production, warehousing, and transport teams
Prepare and distribute daily and weekly logistics schedules
Analyse data, monitor KPIs, and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements
Background in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
3–5 years' experience in logistics coordination, production planning, or trucking operations
Strong background in domestic transport scheduling
Experience with warehouse operations and inventory management
Proficiency in logistics/planning systems (BSM, Triton, SAP, Oracle, TMS)
Advanced Excel skills and a data-driven approach
Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities
