The Opportunity
We are looking for a Parts Interpreter for our Launceston Branch.
To be successful, you will be a confident self-starter and have a passion for agricultural and small construction machinery, an open mind for the rural lifestyle and demonstrate the following attributes.
As Parts Interpreter, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing sales and service of parts to customers
* Ordering stock
* Receipting stock
* Picking and packing freight
* Answering phone calls
* Assisting the workshop staff with the purchase of parts for machinery
* Maintaining stock levels in the showroom
* Stocktaking, inventory and warehouse maintenance
* Updating the system in a timely manner while ensuring accuracy
* Assist all customers with sales queries
* Making sales to lifestyle customers
* Passing on all other sales leads to the best-suited Sales Rep
* All other duties as required by management
Person Specification
As a successful Parts Interpreter, you will have:
* Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to think clearly, analyse data and act accordingly
* Problem-solving skills
* An ability to manage your workload to achieve set outcomes
* Mechanical aptitude and experience
* Effective time management and prioritisation skills
* Computer Software experience
* An ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and limited supervision
* Be a team player who works with initiative, commitment and a positive attitude
* Ability to adapt and respond to changing work situations and environments.
* Drivers Licence
* Forklift License preferred but not essential.
