This is an exciting chance to contribute to the delivery of psychiatry training across Hunter New England Health. As a key member of the team, you will provide high-level administrative support to medical education leaders and coordinate both prevocational and vocational psychiatry training programs.
Main Responsibilities
 * Coordinating activities for psychiatry trainees and ensuring program requirements are met.
 * Providing professional administrative support, including preparing reports, agendas, minutes, and correspondence.
 * Maintaining databases, filing systems, and handling financial processes such as invoicing and reimbursements.
 * Organising meetings, including teleconferences and videoconferences, and ensuring appropriate documentation is prepared.
 * Building strong working relationships with supervisors, staff, and external training bodies.
Key Requirements
 * Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
 * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence to liaise across all levels.
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer systems, with strong attention to detail and ability to pick up systems quickly.
 * A customer-focused approach, including the ability to manage sensitive enquiries with professionalism.
 * Willingness to learn and apply knowledge of psychiatry training processes and healthcare standards.
