Join our team in Ballarat. Accenture is excited to announce the opening of our new technology and operations centre in Ballarat. This state-of-the-art facility will support Australian businesses and government departments by providing essential onshore technology services. Purpose

Responsible for designing, supporting, and maintaining the Enterprise Messaging infrastructure. Individuals in this position will have a high level of ownership from the design, installation, implementation and ongoing support of all Messaging based systems and applications.

Relevant Previous Experience

- Management and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange in a hybrid on prem/cloud setting.
- Support on Mobile Messaging infrastructure (Intune, MDM), Microsoft Defender and Security and compliance.
- Support the email gateway Mimecast and Proofpoint (Essential/Enterprise).
- Desired skill set to include, but not limited to:
- Administration, management, and troubleshooting skills of O365, Exchange 2013/2016+.
- Strong documentation and troubleshooting skills.

Knowledge

- Performed scripting administration tasks using PowerShell, developing scripts for automating processes.
- Design and troubleshoot Active directory solutions around Exchange integration and replication.
- Provide systems metrics, root cause analysis and proactive monitoring and communicate any performance degradation to management.

Additional Requirements

Security Clearance Requirement: Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance. This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.

On-call and Shift Expectations

Our positions are primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients\' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction.
